Overview
Hosted by Jason Burton, a Lift Foils dealer and organizer of the Atlanta Foil Fest, and joined by Devon Manz (@wakethief), this camp is designed to give you a surf experience of a lifetime.
Both Jason and Devon are landlocked in Georgia and New York State. The two met up in Puerto Rico for an unforgettable surf experience on the LiftX—an experience that left a lasting imprint. Learning to surf is hard, especially if you haven’t grown up doing it or have lived too far from the ocean to practice. Electric foils change that.
Most people can learn to get to their feet within their first hour of practice. With more time on a nearby body of water, we believe many riders can build the skills necessary to enjoy a true surf experience on the LiftX. If you’re in your fifties, sixties, or even seventies, it’s not too late to surf. Practice on your nearest body of water, learn the foundational skills, and then join us on this trip.
With a 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio, daily film review, and guided progression drills, you’ll have plenty of support to build confidence and advance your riding. This is not a casual vacation—it’s a purpose-built progression retreat for riders serious about unlocking an experience of a lifetime.
